Partnerships with Purpose

The vision God gave Bishop Steve Houpe over 30 years ago, was one that was strategically focused on not only impacting the lives of men, women and families who would become faithful members of Harvest Church, but also those from around the globe who would feel the ministry’s love without ever stepping foot on the Harvest Church campus. Although the recipients may not ever come in contact with Bishop Houpe or the members of Harvest Church, the love that Harvest Church so passionately demonstrates through its faithful support of a multitude of missions and outreaches comprise Harvest Church “We C. Missions of any viable ministry seek to make an impact both locally and internationally in the lives of people by spreading both Christ’s love and His Gospel as commanded in scriptures like:

“Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!” (Psalm 96:3) “For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, “I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 13:47)

“And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” (Matthew 16:15)

And finally among many others, Harvest Church’s foundational scripture Luke 10:2 which says, “Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the laborer’s are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth laborer’s into his harvest.”

It is because of the faithful and loving financial support of Harvest Church partners and members that a continual outpouring of love can go forth for mission work in this, and other great nations. We offer continued support for mission work for Monrovia, Liberia in West Africa, in Haiti, and digging wells in Kenya. Locally Harvest Church feeds and clothes hundreds of family through our on-site Harvesters food pantry as well as other annual events such as our school supply drive each fall, support of local Angel Tree families during the Christmas season, and our Feed the Harvest community meals where we feed thousands each Thanksgiving.
