Location
Nestled within the natural splendor of Yosemite National Park, Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in Fish Camp, Calif., provides vacationers with unmatched serenity. The hotel is located 55 miles north of Fresno International Airport and two miles from the south entrance to the park. Fish Camp is a small community on Highway 41, about a mile from the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park. Summerdale Campground is between the town and park entrance. Nearby, the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad operates along four miles of narrow-gauge track. Used to haul lumber from 1899 to 1931, the restored track and Shay locomotives now haul tourists. Property Features. While breathing spectacularly crisp mountain air, guests enjoy panoramic mountain views. Built in 1990 and renovated in 2009, the lodge resembles an enormous southwestern luxury cabin, with a plethora of unfinished woods and Native American-style fabrics. Ideal for the outdoorsy adventurer, Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite offers a Guest Experience Center that assists with arranging sightseeing tours of the park, guided hikes and horseback riding. Independent guests may engage in self-guided activities like golfing at Yosemite's Wawona Golf Course, fishing at nearby Bass Lake and ice-skating. Pampered guests experience wonderful scrubs, massages, facials, aromatherapy, and manicures and pedicures at the hotel's Ascent Spa, with 12 individual and couples treatment rooms and views of the mountains. Two pools are perfect for relaxing or just splashing around. Guests maintain regimented workout routines in the equipped fitness center and sauna. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel for a surcharge. Restaurants Unique dining options include fireside dining for breakfast and dinner at The Sierra Room, and burgers for lunch at Jackalope Bar and Grill, which has a children's menu. The Embers Restaurant offers dinner and a bar, and serves cooked-to-order breakfast daily from 6:30 AM to 11 AM. The Timberloft Pizzeria is open for dinner, and the turn-of-the-century style Parkside Deli serves breakfast and lunch (some meals may not be served daily.) Some basic Reminders Remember to pack lightly, and follow the airline rules about baggage. It is ok to check your bag for this flight through to Yosemite Fresno International Airport (FAT). (Always a smart idea to leave a contact number or destination point inside your bag) Carry proper Identification with Photo ID. Be aware of and follow Security Rules when going through the security transfer points.
Flight is scheduled to arrive at the Yosemite Fresno Airport at 11:05 AM.

Day 2 Itinerary: Sunday, August 11,2013 8:15 AM Meet in Lobby for all Day Yosemite Guided Coach Tour 8:30 AM to 5PM Full day Tour Our day will include Mass at the Chapel in Yosemite Park
Your tour includes frequent photo stops and a chance to walk to a waterfall or two. You’ll enjoy breathtaking views from Glacier Point. The bus trip itself provides ever-changing views and the chance to learn about the history, geology, flora, fauna and current events of this remarkable park. Water and soft drinks will be available throughout the day, and we even provide lunch so you can make the most of your time in Yosemite. *Glacier Point and Mariposa Grove are seasonal, as are many of the waterfalls. This itinerary is subject to change due to conditions beyond our control. The tour will end at 5PM as we return to Tenaya Lodge You are on your own for dinner or to enjoy some of the Lodge’s fine offerings.
Day 3 Itinerary: Monday, August 12, 2013 A half day tour to enjoy the beautiful sequoias. Today just enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings of this majestic forest take a leisurely walk in the woods.
Afternoon is free Be sure to enjoy an early evening dinner before gathering for the evening festivities. The Perseids Meteor Shower 8:30 PM-2 AM Included is transportation to and from Glacier Point, a tote bag, night sky maps, tenaya blankets, glow sticks, bottled waters, popcorn, cookies, apples and Hot Beverages (2 per room); Your guide is an astronomer to help you get the most out of the shower in the skies
Day 4 Itinerary: Tuesday, August 13, 2013 Time to pack it up! Shuttle service to Fresno Airport leaves Tenaya at 9AM Arrive in NYC at 11:30 PM
