Blue Sky Group has started construction of their first development project in Pattaya, Atlantis Condo Resort. Construction contracts were signed last month with experienced local building contractor, VKK and construction consultants, Tuscan engineering consultant co. Ltd. Construction began on schedule, on 5th May 2012, otherwise known as 5.5.55, as it is in the Buddhist calendar. The project site is on Jomtien 2nd road just over 300 meters from Jomtien beach, a location which is set to become a most popular residential area over the next few years.

Danny Van Harten formally left his position at Heights Holdings, effective April 30, 2012.

The Nova Group Plc held a contract signing ceremony on May 14th with LockBuild GROUP to be the construction company for the new Amari Residence Pattaya project to be developed on an area of approximately 2 Rai on Pratumnak Hill. Although he enjoyed tremendous success with the company helping to transform it into one of the largest developers of condominiums in Pattaya, he has taken the decision to leave and to undertake a new challenge. In a short statement, he said, “This is a personal decision which has not been easy to make. I believe I have taken the business as far as I personally can and I leave the company in a position of strength.” He added, “My departure from the firm is on amicable terms and with the full blessing of senior management. I will update everyone on my future plans very soon, which I am very excited by. Piling work has already started and Amari Residences is scheduled to be completed by the last quarter of 2014. The project will consist of a 35 storey building with 278 units, and will be managed by Amari. 70% of the units have already been sold.
