The Three Little Pigs
Adapted text
Once upon a time there were three little pigs. Each little pig wanted to build a house.
The first little pig made a house with straw.
The second little pig made a house with sticks.
The third little pig made a house with bricks.
A big bad wolf saw the little pigs.
The big bad wolf went to the house of the first little pig.
The wolf said, “Little pig, little pig, let me in.
“Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin, said the pig.
“Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down!” said the wolf.
So he huffed and he puffed and he blew the house down.
The first little pig ran away.
The big bad wolf went to the house of the second little pig.
The wolf said, “Little pig, little pig, let me in.
“Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin, said the pig.
“Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down!” said the wolf.
So he huffed and he puffed and he blew the house down.
The second little pig ran away.
The big bad wolf went to the house of the third little pig.
The wolf said, “Little pig, little pig, let me in.
“Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin, said the pig.
“Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down!” said the wolf.
So he huffed and he puffed and he blew the house down.
The wolf said, “Little pig, little pig, here I come to eat you.
The pig had a hot pot of water. He said, “Come on down!”
The wolf landed in the pot. And that was the end of the big bad wolf.
