The Blind King

This is the story of a brave king that lost his left eye while saving his KINGDOM.

He was much loved by his people

except one person : His closest advisor,

his first minister, who was secretly a DARK MAGUS. Since he coveted the throne, he pretended that he could help the king restore his eyesight. But for this, he said : “I need your right eye.

The king trusted him and let the DARK MAGUS take his only eye left. Then all was dark‌

The dark magus laughed and said : “now you are unable to rule! Our laws forbid blind men to lead the people. By decree, you are now an outcast! “. And this is how the KING became a

beggar.

Days, months, years passed while the king erred in the woods. At first, he was very disheartened. He wished to die. “Is it worth living without seeing the beauty of the world?

But, little by little, he realised that he could perceive the world through his

other senses.

Now he could

see sounds.

And he discovered that he could “see” things from within. For instance, plants were no longer strangers to him… He could dive, with the eyes of his mind, deep into their sap.

When he smelt

blossoming flowers, he felt their petals rushing through his hair‌.

And how useful were now his hands ! They lead the way for him in DARKNESS.

Since the king was a good man, little by little, he started to see the beauty again, but this time, with his HEART.

Even though he couldn’t see the sun, the moon or the stars, his soul became as wide as the sky.

And a m would be

were, children of ars.

One day, he heard the sound of

crystalline water. Never had he heard such a pure music in the midst of the woods.

Delighted, he walked towards the waterfall. He stood there, transported by its lightness. Then, almost as in a prayer, he folded his hands and took some of the WATER, which he poured over his worn-out face.

Then LIGHT shone everywhere. And he could see. His right eye became as bright as

sun

, the and his left eye as pure as the

moon.
