Director Centro de Innovación en Minería (CIM).
PhD Mining Engineering, Virginia Tech, USA.
PhD Informatics. Université Paris-Est, France.
Overview of the Workshop
Course Outline
Recent advances in algorithms, computational capacity and mathematical modeling are set to revolutionize the practice of mine planning. Researchers at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (UAI) are on the cutting edge of applying these advances to the minerals industry. This workshop will present these advances and what they can mean to you as consultants who seek to provide improved planning solutions to your clients while enhancing your own professional development.
