A Dream Demolished

The dream of a real Larry’s Country Diner in Nashville was torn away in July when the unfinished building was demolished to make way for a private emergency room facility.

The original plan had been to not only be a restaurant but a venue for live performances as well as a studio to tape “Larry’s Country Diner” show. Lending institutions couldn’t understand the concept and were unsure they could recoup their money, so construction halted.
