A gazebo will generally have a slightly steep roof line but you may also choose a more sloping roof line. The roof edge may have a scalloped edge or it may be smooth and straight. Of course you can always add screening if you want to keep out insects and bugs. If you have a lot of
flowering plants that attracts bees you may need screening to keep them outside of the gazebo. A gazebo can be placed just about anywhere. It is generally a round shaped structure. It will need to have level ground under it so you don’t jiggle the building as you enter it and sit in it. Setting a gazebo in a shaded corner will allow a cooler place to sit and rest or eat. You can create a stage setting for your gazebo. You can do this by landscaping around it creating a place of interest that also looks inviting. A gazebo near a pool area is a lovely place to rest after swimming and when you want to get out of the sun. You can have a more modern looking gazebo also.
