B A G H D A D DESIGN CENTRE Competition/ /Master's Thesis/ l o n g l i s t e d
Site of the competition is located in the Old Town. Exisitng remains of the historic building on the plot are the meeting point for citizens, where they gather and organise cultural events. The challenge was to create a design centre in harmony with the heritage and social function of the place. The solution is to lif t par t of the building above the historic walls and to organise shaded plaza on the ground floor. 15
Baghdad Design Centre / Iraq / 2018 / Master's Thesis The site is the old Baghdad Governorate Building in Al-Rusafa side of Baghdad from the early XX c. The nearest main street to the site is Al-Mutanabbi Street, one of the oldest and best-known streets in the Iraqi capital. Design Centre has to be an example of harmonious coexistance of old and new. A significant par t of Baghdad culture life but also an everyday stop in citizens life.

Urban Accupuncture in Como / Revitalisation of postindustrial district / Italy / 2017
WHY ACCUPUNCTURE? The ideology and design method of the project stems from the socio-enviromental theory of urban acupuncture. It stands for improovement of the larger urban cotext by small - scale interventions. It demands awareness of social, economic and ecological factors exisitng on the site. The communication between the society and designers is crucial. Elaborated area is a postindustrial district in Como – Italy. This par t of the city has a big potential which is not used because of the abandoned remains of industrial era, spacial chaos and lack of turist attractions.
WHAT WAS CHANGED? In result individual revitalised areas were connected in the net so the the district can work as a whole. Axes leading to the Old Town were emphasised. Lot of new connections, stairs and lifts were designed in the spots with big level difference. The need for local spacial centre was realised by moving existing spor ts function higher and creating two levels public plaza which combains functions for different groups of users. Free parcel in the central par t of the distric was designed as a residential hybrid.

The Journey is the Destination / Cuicocha Lookout / Equador / 2020
The design is a reflection on the joy of Journey (physical as well as an introspective one) and its Destination. It enables two possible paths. First one, from the main road, leads you through the curved walkway that slowly unravels the beauty of Lake Cuicocha in all its glory. Second one – the way up from the hiking trail, connects the lookout with local footpaths, for a more terrain-oriented hike. Light, blended-with-the-nature bamboo structure of the Lookout serves also as a shelter from bad weather. The design encloses five parking spaces.

Cloud Shower / Jump The Gap Competition / 2019 / teamowork with Patrycja Pokrzywa The Cloud Shower takes its name of the mist it creates, instead of the traditional falling water. Its main purpose is to change the association of saving water from being an unpleasant duty into exceptional experience. Its main par t is the control panel that depicts the idea. The top button activates atomized water. The next few pods are created to combine your perfect skin routine. There is a variety of options to choose from such as: shower gel, oils, herb essences and tonics. Sleek metal panel has a minimalistic design to fit into every modern bathroom space.
