Ariel Papercraft
1. Print Ariel on regular paper or cardstock and cut out the pieces. 2. Starting with the tip of Ariel’s tail, make all folds along dashed lines and close the tip of the tail with the A tab using glue or double-sided tape. Secure the B tabs to their corresponding sides on the lower end of the tail’s middle section, then close the middle section with the C tab. Secure the D tab to the top part of the tail, then secure the E tabs to form the seat of the tail. Finish the tail shape by securing the F tabs. 3. Line up the back of Ariel’s head with her face, then secure the two pieces so the design is two-sided using glue or double-sided tape. Fold the bottom part of Ariel’s torso (where her tail begins) away from you along the dashed line, then fold the middle of her torso toward you along the dashed line. Fold the dashed line across her shoulders away from you. 4. Fold each tab along Ariel’s chest piece along the dashed lines. Secure the G tabs behind the torso. Place a dab of glue on the H tab and press it into place on the H panel on Ariel’s torso. Make sure her shoulders line up correctly. 5. After the glue dries, add glue to the I, J, K, and L tabs, then press them into place. Hold the pieces together until the glue dries. 6. Fold each of Ariel’s arms so the designs are two-sided, then secure each one with glue or double-sided tape. 7. Attach Ariel’s arms to the sides of her body by gluing the M tab to the M panel and the N tab to the N panel. 8. Glue the tail fin to the tip of Ariel’s tail.
