SUMMER
In the summer, the longer days mean more time for adventure, as well as for kicking back and enjoying the scenery. A nearly endless array of activities means you can spend the morning whitewater rafting, try your best shot at sporting clays in the afternoon and then take a boat ride to have dinner and cocktails and watch the setting sun from the deck of the Island Lodge at Salmon Lake.

FA L L
In the fall, you’ll witness nature’s grand finale. It’s the time of year when you can experience the world’s best fly-fishing. Take a romantic hot air balloon ride over rolling foothills. Explore Montana’s best-preserved ghost town. Or simply go for a walk surrounded by the vibrant gold of the tamarack trees, set off by the velvety green of the Ponderosa pines. Notice the pine cones and leaves crunching underfoot.

WINTER
In the winter, the green o gets blanketed in white. The snow is so high, you’ll never run out of things to do. Race through the forest on the back of a dogsled. Explore the landscape on cross-country skis. Go snow tubing or go all out and try skijoring, where you’ll glide along on skis while being pulled by a horse. Some of our most exhilarating activities are the wintry ones.
