Check that the website appears in search engines If the website you want to buy is quite old, and your intended to get traffic from the search engines, then you can check inside the search engines to make sure that the site is actually indexed and therefore able to drive the search engine traffic for website. To check a website is indexed in Google, go to Google and type: "site: www.DOMAINNAME.com", without the quotes,
5.Confirm proof of income A lot of websites you want to buy will be earning some income, which means that the seller is claiming the website is making some money. It is essential that you verify proof of any income claimed by the seller, they will often advertise a website such as being with the income, when it actually means that it is earning potential, and sometimes simply lying to try to make a sale.
