Production requirements Art for Ad Builds: All art, including logos, maps, borders, photos, etc. must be clean and clear. Any art that is to be used should be original and not pre-printed, if at all possible. Images downloaded from the Internet are low-resolution and are not acceptable. If you scan your own artwork, resolution should be set at 300 DPI. If submitting digital photos for your ad, use your camera’s high quality (high resolution) setting. Pictures should be a minimum of 170 DPI. Camera-Ready Ads: We accept high-resolution PDF or Photoshop JPEG files. Make sure all placed artwork within your layout is NOT in RGB. Artwork should be converted to CMYK. Resolution should be 300 DPI. Black should be created using only black from the color palette, not a mixture of colors. This is particularly true for black type. Flatten all transparencies before output to avoid problems with drop shadows, special effects, etc. All fonts must be embedded and colors set to CMYK. Please use Adobe Acrobat’s default setting PDF/X-1a: 2001 for creating PDFs. E-mail Your Ad or Materials: E-mail to your account representative. Maximum attachment size is 10MB. Larger files may be compressed before sending, or contact your account representative for instructions on uploading large files to our FTP site.
Terms of Payment • Net due 30 days from statement date, 1.5% per month (18% annum) will be charged on all past due accounts. • New advertisers who wish to establish an account must submit a credit application with acceptable credit references. • Advertising from accounts more than 30 days past due cannot be accepted unless cash payment is made. • Ads that require payment in advance include those from advertisers who have not established credit privileges and advertisers who have been placed on a cash-only basis; political ads; and going-out-of-business, bankruptcy and transient ads (such as circus, carnival, etc.). These ads must be paid for by deadline. • Advertisers billed at contract rate who fail to fulfi ll the contract terms will be billed at the appropriate earned rate retroactively. All contract discounts are cancelled on advertising more than 60 days past due. • Applicant agrees to pay Payson Roundup for all expenses they may incur to enforce collection of any amount due for advertising placed at open or contract rates including reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs in connection therewith.
