STAY ON GUARD
Born in Miami Beach, South Florida Clothiers’ resort wear (with its darling Stone Crab logo) can be spotted around town. We wouldn’t venture out for a day of fun in the sun without the brand’s UPF rash guard ($55). Known as the S4 shirt—short for sun, swim, sail, surf—it’s made from a performance UPF 50–rated fabric to keep you dry while protecting your skin from dangerous UV rays—all while sporting your SoFla pride. TAKE A VACATION
The Miami-based sunscreen brand Vacation began as a collab between Poolsuite (a viral internet radio station pairing super-summer music with ’80s visuals) and sunscreen entrepreneurs Lach Hall and Dakota Green. The Classic Lotion SPF 30 ($18) is the best smelling sunscreen we’ve ever tried. But we also can’t resist the fun of the Classic Whip SPF 30 ($22), a foamy sunscreen inspired by everyone’s favorite after-dinner indulgence, and the Chardonnay Oil SPF 30 ($22), a modern elevation of the tanning oils of the ’80s and ’90s.
