Before giving up on those 2022 exercise goals, try shaking things up at AKT Fitness in Fort Lauderdale. Celebrity trainer Anna Kaiser developed this fullbody workout that blends cardio dance intervals with strength and toning.

“With this positivity and combination of personal training and movementbased technique, AKT empowers members to become stronger in their bodies, minds, and communities,” says Nicole Kinzel, the general manager of the Lauderdale locale.

There are four classes under the AKT umbrella: dance (choreographed dance and short strength intervals); bands (sports-based exercises with the stability of a box); tone (full-body strength paired with smaller isolated contractions); and circuit (plyometric power exercises with medium weight compound strength movements). The best part of AKT is that it welcomes all levels. The classes are fun, the music is booming, and the studio even has a disco ball.
