CRAVINGS Between the Bun
In honor of National Burger Month in May, we’ve rounded up some of Fort Lauderdale’s BEST BURGERS
PROHIBITION BURGER
A mainstay in Lauderdale’s kitchen and bar scene is Tap 42, and its Prohibition burger is a no-brainer when it comes to must-try burgers. This American beauty features a special patty blend that’s piled high with white cheddar cheese, applewood bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onions, plus a secret sauce and Dijonnaise. Enjoy this monster any day of the week or on Mondays when it is half-off at all locations from 4 to 11 p.m. (tap42.com)
BREAKFAST ALL DAY BURGER
Who said you can’t enjoy breakfast at any hour? Order the Breakfast All Day burger at BurgerFi locations for a stacked mouthful of all the morning’s favorite bites. A crispy hashbrown sets the foundation for a patty topped with American cheese, a fried egg, bacon, grilled onions, and ketchup. BurgerFi promises its burgers are all made with 100-percent natural Angus beef free of steroids, antibiotics, growth hormones, chemicals, and additives. (burgerfi.com)
THE NOBL BURGER
Non-meat-eaters, this one’s for you. Delicious Raw’s vegan burger, dubbed the Nobl burger, is a plant-based charmer complemented with scratch-made pickles, smoked aioli, truffleinfused garlic Dijon, baby spinach, roasted tomato, portobello, and Bermuda onions. All of that is stacked between a house-made vegan brioche bun and served alongside a root salad. (delraw.com)

TOP ROUND MELT
One burger that will creep back into your thoughts when cravings hit is the Top Round Melt. Top Round has a reputation for outstanding slow-roasted roast beef sandwiches, but we must give credit to its sister sandwich. Think: buttery bread housing a center of Provel and cheddar cheeses, an Angus patty, chef’s sauce, and caramelized onions. Finish off an indulgent meal withTop Round’s key lime pie ice cream custard—it’s a match made in heaven. (eattopround.com)
