A new day has dawned at South County’s premier luxury hotel. This summer, The Boca Raton Resort & Club heralded its next chapter by debuting a new moniker and a $175-million phase one transformation. Now known as The Boca Raton, the 105-year-old property is unveiling an array of fresh accommodations, hospitality experiences, and dining options. The Flamingo Grill is leading the pack—or rather, the flamboyance—of reimagined eateries. The first new signature restaurant concept created in partnership with Major Food Group, the grill presents a modern spin on the American chophouse. Guests enter a tropical setting infused with chic midcentury touches, from the antiqued limestone mosaic tile floor to the brass finishes and darkstained oak furnishings. Dine on elevated classics (think: Montauk Pearl oysters with a black pepper mignonette, and dressed lobster with French curry aioli and pickled green apple) under the hand-painted flamingo mural or on the veranda overlooking the golf course. With the greens as your view and a key lime pie on your plate, you’ll know you’ve entered paradise. (thebocaraton. com) —Mary Murray
