Half a cup of packed brown sugar. 1/2 cup of peanut butter. Half cup of butter. It should be at room temperature and not refrigerated. Baking soda- 3/4 teaspoon. 1 1/4 cup of flour. 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder. One egg. Salt – 1/4 teaspoon

Beat the butter for about 2 minutes until it becomes creamy. Next, you need to add sugars and beat again for 2 minutes. Then, mix the egg and the peanut butter. The dry ingredients, i.e. the baking powder, soda, flour, and salt should be mixed well. For thorough blending, stir the dry constituents in the mixture of butter and sugar. The dough should be wrapped in a plastic and put in the refrigerator for 3 hours. Thereafter, preheat the oven to a temperature of 375 degree Fahrenheit. The dough needs to be shaped into 1 1/4 balls. Next, take a clean cookie sheet and place the balls 3 inches apart. Take a fork and flatten it making crisscross pattern. You need to bake now for about 9-10 minutes so that the color turns light brown. For about a minute, cool the cookies on baking sheets. Finally, put the baked delights on the racks for complete cooling.
