Hello, summertime! It’s that time of year when things really heat up around our region (even more than they already have!) To beat the heat, we have our upcoming Afternoon at the Movies featuring Top Gun: Maverick at the Cinemark Theater in Davie on June 4th. We will have the theater to ourselves. What better way to stay cool and enjoy the anticipated summer blockbuster movie than with100 great friends?

Happy Father’s Day to the Porsche Dads. You know who you are - the ones who not only play hard with your Porsches, but you take the time to baby and pamper them as well. I know some of you are using cloth baby diapers to polish your Porsche kids. Enjoy your day! Also, this is the start of hurricane season. Be sure to have a plan in place to protect your home, family, and your Porsche!

Thank you to Steve and Dottie Kidd for organizing the F1 Viewing Party at Hagerty Garage + Social on May 8th. There was a great turnout to watch this exciting event.

The First PCA Gold Coast Region Charity Golf Tournament was held on May 14th at the Country Club of Coral Springs. Thank you to Mike Del Pozo for heading up the committee and to the committee members for all of your work to make this a success. You can read more about this great event in this issue. Registration is open for the Second Annual Escape to the Cape on August 20th and 21st. The plans are coming together, and we know it’s going to be exciting.

We recently held another social committee meeting and have some new events in the works, as well as some popular repeat events.
