My name is Leo and I am a Labrador Retriever. I live in an apartment on the ground floor of a building with a boy Nicolas and his family. Nicolas and I are best friends.

Nicolas is 6. He goes to a nursery school like his friends. He loves when their nursery teacher reads interesting stories and he likes playing different games with his friends, but he can’t see as well as other kids can. 3
Nicolas is a brave and persistent boy. He wears glasses and eye plasters regularly although it is not always pleasant to have them. His mum and dad take him to the doctor with whom Nicolas does various exercises that can help him improve his eyesight. 4

My friend sometimes gets nervous because he cannot play certain games with his friends. Sometimes, he is sad as well, because Sasha from the nursery school teases him saying that he is slow and clumsy. After the game, I am there, by his side, trying to cheer him up. He often strokes me for a long time, because he enjoys that. 6
Nicolas and I like going for a walk in the yard in front of our building. Once, Nicolas took me out of the yard and approached the roadway. I was afraid that he would not see the vehicles on the road, so I yarked the leash and moved him far away from the road. 7
