My name is Ava and I am a cat. As it is widely known, there are different kinds of cats. I belong to a breed called Maine Coon. People say that we are clever, that we like to be caressed and are fond of children.

I live in a house with a girl Sonia and her family. She is five and she goes to kindergarten. She’s my best friend. It took me a while to get to know her because she is an unusual girl. 3
When I arrived in Sonia’s family, everyone took me in nicely, especially her sister, Ana. At first, I played only with Ana because Sonia seemed uninterested in me. She didn’t caress me, call my name nor did she give me the cookies I love. 4

One day I was so annoyed with Sonia because I wanted to play with her, so I took the little doll she played with and I threw it into the puddle. I wanted to make her angry with me just the way I was with her. But she just stared at the doll and she wasn’t angry at all. 6
However, once while I was resting on her bed, Sonia put the cookie next to me and let me have it. I wanted to thank her, but she was already occupied with a game of her own. 7
