The Job Analysis Survey (JAS) - an integral part of PROFILE:MATCH® - helps you to identify the essential competencies that underpin high performance.

by supporting good people decisions To make good hiring decisions, it is necessary to know which are the key ‘must have’ competencies. Selection processes become a lottery when hiring managers are unclear what exactly they are looking for; which personal characteristics are really essential, which are desirable, and which are incompatible with high performance. The immediate pragmatic approach is to sample the views of those that know the job well. The Job Analysis Survey (JAS) allows you to gather information about any job from the people who know it best - HR professionals, managers, supervisors, or people with past or current experience in that role.

You set up a JAS by entering the job title and the name of the organisation, and setting a closing date for survey completion. Then you give your survey a name, and save your JAS. PROFILE:MATCH® emails you instructions about how to take part in the online survey, which you forward to each participant. When all the survey results are in, PROFILE:MATCH® collates all your results and identifies key competencies for that role.

1. total sample job analysis reports PROFILE:MATCH® can analyse responses to the JAS from all raters to identify the competencies that are considered most essential for success.
