the solution Working closely with the HR Director, and Chief Underwriter, PCL created a Development Centre to determine areas of potential improvement. This was implemented as a twoday workshop that assessed a range of skills and behaviours including technical insurance, strategic thinking, leadership, teamworking, drive and commitment and commercial awareness. Feedback was given to individuals and an overall group analysis was delivered to Equity Red Star.
the results The Development Centre was a great success and resulted in optimising succession planning, creation of an improved style of management and stronger trust and openness among key team players.
