A woman was harassed by an unknown heckler at a home in the 4500 block of Glenwick Lane before 2:04 a.m.

Aug. 11

A robber displayed firearms at a woman then took property from her before 3:36 p.m. at NorthPark Center.

Aug. 12

Reported before 3:15 p.m.: a hit and run in the 5700 block of West Lovers Lane.

Aug. 14

A vehicle thief was spotted by Dallas police driving a stolen truck before 7:34 p.m. in the 5400 block of West Lovers Lane. When the driver saw the police, they took off on foot.

Aug. 15

A jerk took a man’s bike before 12:43 p.m. in the 6800 block of Desco Drive.

Aug. 16

A woman caused a disturbance at the NorthPark Center AMC box office. When she left, she called the theater repeatedly, eventually making the threat that she would “stomp the manager’s face in,” before 1:22 p.m.

A criminal trespass warning was issued to someone committing a lewd act before 7:29 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Community School.

Aug. 19

A package pilferer stole a delivery from a man’s porch in the 5500 block of West Amherst Avenue before 9:39 a.m.

Aug. 20

Before 1:18 a.m., the back door window of a woman’s home was broken in the 5800 block of Walnut Hill Lane.

Aug. 21

A man’s catalytic converter was stolen at NorthPark Center before 7:43 p.m.

A reckless driver hit a tree in the 9100 block of Hillcrest Drive and fled the scene before 2:23 a.m.

Aug. 24

A thief stole a woman’s front chrome grill off her car before 7:26 p.m. in the parking lot of CVS in the Preston Center.

Aug. 25

Three men joined forces to steal a man’s property from his car outside a home in the 12000 block of Whitman Lane before 4:01 p.m.

Aug. 26

Located before 10:04 p.m.: an abandoned vehicle in the 5300 block of Royal Lane.

Aug. 27

A Chevy driver broke into a man’s car parked outside The Douglas before 6:56 p.m.

Aug. 28

Before 4:28 p.m., a firearm was discharged toward a moving vehicle in the 3700 block of West Northwest Highway.

Before 10:36 a.m., an intoxicated shopper got a criminal trespass warning at NorthPark Center.

A trespasser was inside a man’s house without consent in the 9100 block of Valley Chapel Lane before 10:40 p.m. Aug. 30. They also had marijuana and a clear glass pipe commonly used for smoking narcotics on them.

Reported before 2:50 p.m.: property was stolen from a man’s box truck in the 9300 block of Sunnybrook Lane.

Sept. 1

Multiple robbers punched and kicked a man in a home and then stole stuff before 3:25 p.m. in the 6600 block of Stefani Drive.

Sept. 2

An obnoxious driver pointed a handgun at a woman as they drove next to each other before 9:02 a.m. in the 7900 block of Inwood Road.

Sept. 3

At an undisclosed time, a burglar broke into CubeSmart Self Storage and several storage units in the 6800 block of W. Northwest Highway.

Sept. 4

A dog bit a man before 7:34 p.m. in the 6400 block of Northaven Road.

SKULDUGGERY of the MONTH: BLOCK BY BLOCK

A woman’s vehicle was stolen before 6:12 p.m. from a parking lot in the 5900 block of Berkshire Lane Aug. 23. Just under four hours later, another stolen vehicle was responded to in the 6000 block of Berkshire Lane. The Dallas Police Department said there is no indication the two incidents are related.
