A woman found a driver’s license and credit cards outside of a home in the 6100 block of Berkshire Lane before 8:19 a.m.

Before 12:21 a.m., a man’s car window was shattered; then his bag was stolen out of it at Black Swan Yoga on Lovers Lane.

July 20

A trio collaborated to break the window of Smoothie King on West Lovers Lane and entered before 5:46 a.m. July 20.

July 13

Someone entered a man’s unlocked door and took property from his home before 6:40 p.m. in the 6400 block of Aberdeen Avenue.

July 14

A thief ran from uniformed officers trying to detain him on accusations of stealing from multiple stores at NorthPark Center before 8:26 p.m. The suspect was also in possession of a pipe commonly used for drugs and received a criminal trespass warning.

A reckless driver intentionally collided into a man’s vehicle multiple times before 9:27 p.m. in the 6800 block of Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway.

A shoplifter stole merchandise from Preston Royal Village and bypassed multiple registers before exiting the store before 2:23 p.m.

A reckless thief shattered the right front door of the Starbucks at Preston Road and Forest Lane and stole stuff before 8:52 a.m.

A person causing a public disturbance breached the peace at NorthPark Center before 10:12 a.m.

Someone was publicly intoxicated before 9:18 p.m. near a busy roadway in the 4600 block of West Northwest Highway.

A woman was scammed out of $15,000 before 6:58 p.m. in the 6600 block of Northaven Road.

A thief hooked up someone’s trailer and took off without consent before 6:03 p.m. in the 4400 block of Taos Road.

Before 10:29 a.m., a jerk used vulgar language and threatened to “pistol whip” a woman over cyberspace in Preston Royal.

An aggressor pointed a black handgun at a woman and threatened to shoot her at a home in the 4900 block of Briarwood Place before 9:12 a.m.

Police responded to someone suspiciously looking into parked cars before 10:33 a.m. in the parking lot of Preston Forest Square.

July 30

Before 4:03 a.m., someone broke the window, stole the ATM, and damaged a trash can of the 7-Eleven in the 10800 block of Preston Road.

July 31

Police found a stolen U-Haul at about 9:15 p.m. parked along the curb in the 5500 block of Waneta Drive. Following a quick license plate check, the vehicle was discovered to have been stolen out of Addison and was towed to the city impound.
