Parent & Tot Hoops N’ Kicks (KM)

Get ready to score some hoops and goals in this fun class! Boys and girls will learn the basic motor skills required to play basketball and soccer while they work one-on-one and spend quality time with their parents. Skills such as dribbling, running, kicking, catching, shooting and passing will be taught. Toddlers will develop motor, listening and social skills as they participate in a variety of activities designed around these two sports. Bring a labeled water bottle and face covering.

Fit N’ Fun for Kids (KM)

Kids will have a blast as they run, jump, hop, skip, stretch and play to gain strength, flexibility and cardio awareness as well as improve motor development, spatial awareness, cognitive ability and socialization skills. We’ll do various activities including relay races, circle games, obstacle courses and other fun fitness games. In this action-packed class, kids will develop a positive association with fitness. Bring a labeled water and face covering.

Toddlers can develop body awareness, balance, flexibility and coordination while having fun learning and practicing movement, rolls and other tumbling exercises. Toddlers will also learn simple yoga poses that stimulate growing muscles. Parents assist with activities in a safe and caring environment. Bring a labeled water bottle and face covering.

Parent & Tot Olympics (KM)

Does your child have the right stuff to be an Olympian? Get a gold medal in parenting by joining your child in this Olympic game based program. You and your child will participate in Olympic sports such as track & field, baseball (t-ball), soccer, and volleyball (use beach balls) as well as obstacle courses and a variety of other fun activities. This class will keep everyone moving, teach kids basic skills, and make sure they are having a great first experience with athletics. Bring a labeled water bottle and face covering.

Kidnastics (KM)

Learn the basics of gymnastics in a safe environment with equipment scaled down to an age-appropriate size. Balance beam, bar, vault, and floor equipment will be featured. Other movement and rhythmic gymnastics ideas will also be included.

Pee Wee Track, Field & Fitness (KM)

This unique class will combine stretching, movement and other fitness concepts with running, jumping, throwing and other skills used in track and field. Children will work on body coordination, agility, balance and self-confidence. The session will conclude with a fun-filled track and field meet on the last day of class. Are you registered for PDLG Learning Ladders Preschool? This class is designed specifically for students that attend our preschool program and provides the opportunity to play sports either before or after class and burn some energy. Not a preschool student? No problem! The class is open to all, even if you don’t attend preschool here at the PDLG. Various sports will be played to give participants a brief intro to the selected sport.

This class covers the basics of baseball in a fun and safe environment where no one stands around. Throwing, catching, hitting and fielding will be taught as well as running the bases and how to play the game. Games will be played every week. Please bring your own glove.

This program will introduce your children to the game of basketball if they are beginners and offer continued instruction if they need to know how to get to the next level. Basic skills of dribbling, passing, shooting and defense will be taught. Games will be played to show the importance of teamwork in game situations.

This is an introductory class for children in 1st - 3rd grade. The lesson plan introduces the pass, set and spike using a very light volleyball. This class will improve each child’s hand-eye coordination and left/right coordination through the use of fun drills and games. Lesson plan also incorporates short educational drills including spelling, math and science.
