Viewing the Bulls

The bulls are available for viewing at the farm anytime until sale close. Pine Bluff Charolais is located 3 miles north of Love, Saskatchewan. If you can’t see the bulls personally and would like someone to discuss specifics with you, please feel free to call any of the sale day phones.

Online Bidding

The sale starts on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 9:00 AM and ends the same day, March 10, at 7:00 PM CST. The By Livestock Timed Online Auction will be a timed Racehorse Style Time Sale. For any assistance, contact Jolene Sinclair at 306-640-7680 or Bridget Andrews at 306-631-9254.

Delivery

Delivery is available for $75 for up to 300 km, there will be a minimal addition over that distance. Bulls will be kept until mid April, at which time, they will be delivered. After May 1st, a $5/day boarding fee will be assessed.

Payment

Invoices will be emailed following the sale to the email address used to bid during the sale. Payment directions will be on the invoice.

Insurance

The animals become your responsibility as soon as sold. We request that bulls staying at Pine Bluff be insured.

By Livestock Timed Auction Bidding Instructions:

CE 5.9 BW .6 WW 45YW 87 M 21 TM 44 1. Visit www.bylivestock.com website. On the website you will see a tab called Sale LogIn. Click it to go to the Sale LogIn page. Follow the instructions on the Sale LogIn page. If you have already created an account on the new By Livestock Online System, you are not required to create another account. The log in criteria you have created for Timed and Live Broadcasts can be used for both types of sales.

2. Once you log into the system, you will see a listing of all By Livestock Live Broadcast and Timed Auction Sales. You can register to bid for each sale listed. 3. On this new system, you can set a “watch list” of the lots you are interested in. If there are active bids on your favorite lots, it will notify you by email. If you are looking for something specific, for example, a white bred heifer, you can use the filter tab and it will sort all the white bred heifers in all the sale listings for you. 4. You can also place proxy-bids on lots you are interested in purchasing. For example: If the lot has a bid of $3000 and you have put in a proxy bid of $4000 and the asking price is $3100, the system will bid $3100 for you. If you are outbid again, the system will bid for you again. If the lot reaches a bid of $4100 then your proxy bid is invalid and you will need to log in to the sale to bid again. The proxy bid will not go over $4000. No one has access to anyone’s proxy bid, it is completely private. It is encrypted in the system. 5. At closing time, if a bid is placed on any of the lots within 1 minute of the close out time, all lots will extend bidding by 30 seconds per bid. When no bidding occurs on the extended time on all the sale lots, the sale is complete. This provides you an opportunity to bid on more than one lot based on your budget. Owners or Sales management will invoice all buyers that purchased lots in the sale. Delivery, shipping and pick up must be arranged with the seller.
