BECK’S THREAD 2176J won the $1,000 Manitoba Ag-Ex Bull Jackpot show in Brandon. Beck Farms, Milestone, SK, exhibited this SOS Apex Pld 139F son and also received a matching $1,000 prize money from the Manitoba Charolais Association.

Charolais Bulls Win Pen Show

Charolais won the Edam Fall Fair Pen Show. The Serhienko Cattle Co., Maymont, SK, pen of three bulls had an average weight of 1,267 lb and 4.47 WPDA. The pen was also People’s Choice Champion over 21 pens.

Canadian Western Agribition’s Supreme Champion Female was BRCHE BERKLY ANN 8507 PLD ET, sired by M&M Outsider 4003 Pld, with her Miss Prairie Cove Cays 159J heifer calf at side. They were exhibited by Prairie Cove Charolais, Bashaw, AB, Cay’s Cattle, Kinistino and Longview Cattle Co., Grenfell.

Charolais Bulls Top Medicine Hat Pen Show

Charolais bulls swept the 23rd Annual Medicine Hat Beef Pen Show. Flat Valley Cattle Co., of Hilda, AB, won Grand Champion Pen of Purebred Bulls with their pen sired by PCC Kentucky Rain 836F.

Flat Valley Cattle Co. also won the Cattlemen’s Choice Bull Calf with FVC JULES 49J.

Rosso Charolais, of Moose Jaw, SK, won Cattlemen’s Choice Yearling Bull with ROSSO GIBSON 2H.
