Welcome WELCOME Welcome to our 2022 Bull sale here at the Ranch on April 2. We like most are always excited to market our cattle after all the hard work of getting them through to their sale day. Our mission here over the years has not changed, it has always been to produce long lasting, easy doing, sound functional Charolais cattle. The mothers of these bulls range from first calf heifers all the way to 15 years of age! Like any cattle operation we always have our eyes open for the next great herdsire, we are also increasing the use of our own genetics as we believe the individuals that rise to the top of the pen here are well worth adding to the cow herd. For quite a number of years we have fed the TMR ration, we have also been weaning a little later in order to leave the weight gain to the genetics, and feed less grain. There are no creep feeders in our pastures, we believe these characteristic of our program will become increasingly important in this business as the years go by. Every cow calf producer wants unassisted calving with rigorous newborn calves that get up and go, and wean in the fall healthy and heavy. Whether its heifer bulls or cow bulls we have them both here that will work for you. We invite you to come and view the bulls anytime at your convenience, but if you are not able please call Ron or Greg or our trusted sale staff. Our sale is a video sale so please come early to view the bulls and join us for lunch. -

G. Bros would like to retain the right to draw semen from any bull in the sale at the buyers convenience and the sellers cost.

DELIVERY

Free delivery within 300 km, and to a convenient location in Sask, Mb, and Ab for distances greater than 300km.

DELAYED DELIVERY

We will keep the bulls free of charge until May 31, then a fee of 100$ a month after. Bulls staying at the farm must be insured.

Welcome to the Gilliland Bros. Charolais Bull Sale. On behalf of Bohrson Marketing, I would like to express how honoured we are to be a part of this sale. Please take note of the sale dates change, this year it has been bumped up to April 2nd. The Gilliland families are an honest and hard-working bunch, and so are the bulls on offer. You will find calving ease in one of the most impressive heifer bulls, Maverick. This proven heifer bull has been breeding all of Gilliland’s heifers for the past couple of years. You will enjoy how easy they come into the world and how fast they grow. Sons from the Clyde bull will get your attention, they have always been at the top of my list. Both the Universal and Cash sons push down the scale come Fall, make sure to check out the weaning weights on these bulls on offer. Along with their own walking bulls, they also take advantage of top A.I. sires. If you are looking for long-bodied, deep, hairy bulls – keep an eye out for both the Pastor and Diesel sons. These bulls have been fed Momma’s milk, grass, and a TMR ration. No creep feeders in the pasture!
