2023 Spring Bull Sale Summary
According to statistics, the 2023 Spring Bull Sales had the highest overall gross in the 42 years the Charolais Banner has been compiling bull sale results. The 2023 spring bull sales saw the most bulls sold, with the most sales reporting and highest overall average.
There were 108 sales reporting in 2023, five more than 2022. The overall numbers were up 136 1/4 lots; average up $700 and gross dollars up $3,636,737.

A quick overview shows that of the 94 sales reporting in both 2022 and
2023, 74% of those sales had an increase in overall average, with 38% having an increase over $1000. There were 53 sales grossing more than $200,000 and one sale grossing over $1,000,000. There were 21 sales selling more than 50 lots.
Mature bull average was up $145, with 5 more bulls selling in 2023. There were 164 1/3 more two-year old bull lots selling in 2023 with the average up $710. 87% of the sales with two-year olds selling had a two-year old average above $5000. There were 32 1/3 less yearling lots selling in 2023 with the average up $687. 85% of all sales with yearlings selling had a yearling average above $5000.
