Deputy Lieutenant of East Sussex, Mrs Maureen Chowen welcomed all and Introduced the proceedings. The Proclamation was read by The Mayor of Peacehaven Lucy-Jo Symonds.

The event was lead by Peacehaven Town Crier - Jon Borthwick. Other people in attendence were Lloyd Russell-Moyle MP, the Mayor's Consort, Shirley Harvie, Peacehaven's Deputy Town Clerk, George Dyson, Deputy Mayor, Cllr David Seabrook, Peacehaven Councillors, and Events, Amenities & Projects Office. Representatives from Sussex Police were also present as well as local residents. God save the King!
