BLACK HISTORY month

“The earth is the Lord’s and they that dwell therein. Through the auspices of the Holy Spirit, we celebrate Black History month at Peachtree Church. We ask our Heavenly Father to bless the Kingdom of God contributions from our African-American communities. The embodied theology for recognizing Black History narratives comes from John 17:23. Jesus Christ prays: “I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” We acknowledge God’s beautiful design and diverse creation as found in all nations—united through the peace and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”

For the first time, we will be building two Atlanta Habitat for Humanity Homes at the same time! Volunteers must be 16+ years old and we encourage you to bring friends to build with you— no previous building experience is needed. Together we are building homes and bringing hope to these two families.
