Pedare Private Bus Services

Pedare is committed to providing a safe, comfortable and convenient private bus service enabling students access to and from the College.

The services stop at both the Junior and Middle & Senior School with buses departing from:

Mawson Lakes, Collinswood, Newton and Salisbury Bus passes can be purchased via the Kanga Coachlines office and can hold up to 20 trips. Weekly passes (10 trips) are $25.00 and casual rides are $3 a trip. To purchase your bus pass please contact Kanga Coachlines on 08 82625111 or visit their office at 5-7 Dan Street Mawson Lakes SA 5095. Important Information Junior School Private Bus Services These buses will stop at the Pedare Junior School to pick up students at the times stated. • • •

Mawson Lakes – 3:22 pm (Students transferring to the Lightsview / Collinswood Service catch this bus) Newton / Paradise – 3:36 pm (refer notes below) Salisbury – 3:36 pm

Newton/Tea Tree Gully

The Newton/Paradise service uses a large 50+ seat bus and will pick up students at 3:36 pm from the Bicentennial Drive pull-in lane outside of the Junior school entrance. A Pedare staff person will monitor students getting onto this service.

Collinswood/Lightsview Transfer Service

To use the Lightsview/Collinswood service, Junior School students are required to catch the Mawson Lakes Bus and travel to Surrey Farm Drive, where they will transfer onto the Lightsview bus. The Lightsview bus WILL NOT leave until the Mawson Lakes Bus arrives and students transfer.

Middle School Students The Catford Library is open for extended hours after school for Middle and Senior School students, Monday to Friday until 5.00 pm. Students in Years 6 -7 who require supervision after 5:00 pm can access the Cobbler Creek OHSC service.

Out of Hours School Care (OHSC) Service Year 6 and 7 students can use the Pedare Newton/Paradise bus service and must be at the bus stop on Surrey Farm Drive by 3:30 pm ready to be transferred to the Junior School, where they will be met by a Junior School staff member and taken to Cobbler Creek OHSC. There is no charge for this transfer and students can collect a bus pass from the College Office. Please notify the College and Cobbler Creek OHSC if you require this service to ensure that your child is collected and signed in to Cobbler Creek OHSC.

Salisbury Afternoon Alternate Route

Pedare is committed to providing a safe environment for students and will utilise a modified route plan for the Salisbury afternoon bus service. The College has chosen to defer the bus onto Taylor Ave and left onto Stanford Road enabling the bus to turn right at the Stanford Road and The Golden Way traffic lights. This provides a higher level of safety instead of crossing both lanes of during afternoon traffic.
