eddie awards merit scholarships to exceptional students, regardless of financial need. Merit recipients are considered for their ability to strengthen all aspects of our community and make the most of their Peddie experience. Scholarship recipients come from diverse backgrounds and locations across the United States and around the world. The Armellino Scholarship

NEW

Armellino Scholars demonstrate not only exceptional academic success, but also character, intellectual curiosity, an infectious excitement for life and an entrepreneurial spirit. • Covers full tuition, boarding costs, all required fees and a stipend for travel expenses (approximately $300,000 total per student) • Includes additional stipend for approved summer Signature Experience • Open to all new domestic boarding applicants

The Annenberg Scholarship

Annenberg Scholars demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, present an exemplary record of citizenship, and exhibit the potential for outstanding leadership within the Peddie community and beyond. • Covers full day tuition (approximately $180,000 total per student) • Open to all new applicants

The Potter Scholarship

Potter Scholars demonstrate outstanding character combined with an extraordinary academic record. • Scholarships of $25,000 per year remain fixed for the recipient’s time at Peddie • Open to all new applicants How to apply: All students will be considered for merit scholarships upon applying to Peddie. Materials must be received by the admission deadline of January 15 in order for students to be eligible.

ur merit scholarship program reinforces our mission to identify and encourage students who will distinguish themselves through their excitement, curiosity, and character. Merit Scholars possess a passion for learning and help make Peddie a dynamic community. Past recipients have embodied a commitment to academic excellence, community engagement, and leadership. Sangu Delle ’06 – Annenberg Scholar

Born in Ghana, Sangu Delle received Peddie’s highest prize, the Wyckoff Honor Prize. While an undergraduate at Harvard, Delle co-founded the African Development Initiative, and was awarded a Soros Fellowship in 2013 to continue his studies in Harvard’s JD/MBA Program. In 2014, Delle established the Sangu Delle Research Fund for Social Engagement in the Department of African American Studies. In 2014, Forbes Magazine named him one of Africa’s Top 30 Under 30.

Haley Peters ’10 – Potter Scholar

Valedictorian Haley Peters was an exemplary studentathlete and McDonald’s All-American basketball player while at Peddie. A 3-time ACC honor roll student and Presidential Scholar candidate, Peters led the Duke Blue Devils to the Elite Eight in the 2013 NCAA tournament. In 2014, Peters signed with the WNBA’s Washington Mystics, and intends to pursue a medical degree following her basketball career.

JR Rodrigo ’11 – Potter Scholar

In 2011, John Raphael “JR” Rodrigo received Peddie’s highest recognition, the Wyckoff Honor Prize, as well as the Morehead-Cain Scholarship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. JR’s recent summer experiences involved volunteering with WorldTeach in China and interning with the Ocean Recovery Alliance in Hong Kong.
