Our Social Mission
Through education and mentorship, Make The Change (MTC) engages the creative community to volunteer their time and expertise in social projects and help social enterprises and NGOs achieve their social missions.

We organise workshops and events that connect employees from corporate organisations with members from the communities such as youth at risk and the eldery, Working together, we bring solutions for community improvements.

Developing Communities via MAD Education Capture Aspirations Program Capture Aspirations is a Community Photography project with the purpose of empowering youth at risk with photography skills in order to showcase their community and their life passions via photo voicing exercises.

We had developed the program with the youth from Jalan Kukoh and Lengok Bahru “I enjoyed the program a lot, I used to take pictures alone, but this group help me connect with other kids with the same interest. Community Development through Corporate Engagement We organised workshops that connect corporate employees with a group of society that is facing problems (youth at risk, elderly, etc.) and together we bring solutions to the problem. “Earlier this year Make The Change worked with the Singapore office of Olswang (an international law firm) to organise a photography programme for students from the CROSSROADS community centre in Singapore. Make The Change is an enthusiastic, fun and efficient team that worked hard and ensured that the objectives of the programme were met: to engage with community, to teach the students new skills and to empower the students with confidence to present their ideas. The photographs are now on the walls in our offices and are even for sale –the proceeds will go to CROSSROADS. Make The Change is an excellent partner to work with and we are grateful to them. Volunteer with us! There are many NGOs in Singapore facing the challenges of limited resources to launch their social activities. MTC bridges the gap by giving them creative training, strategies and executions. Make the Change in your life and others’ by volunteering yourself in following platforms. 1. Creative Professionals Design for good! We welcome creative professionals to mentor our creative apprentices in answering the clients’ (NGOs) brief and providing an integrated creative solution to their campaigns. 2. Creative Apprentices Instead of producing scam ads for your portfolios, here are the chances that you can exhibit your marketing, advertising or design skills in real life social projects. We welcome students from all creative institutes to make the change through design. 3. General Volunteers You might have different talents beyond design. MTC offers various platforms for you to be involved in following areas: • • • • •
Project management Event planning and execution PR / Copywriting Facilitating and supporting social activities Training opportunities
