We thank everyone who voted on October 8th, providing a solid quorum of members for the second election attempt. At the meeting that evening, POA members elected three directors for 20132015: Cecilia Brown, Tom Mikus, and Warren Murdoch. They join the four 2012-2014 directors: Luis Cartagenova, Eduardo Garcia-Rameau, James Gilmer, and Lawton Park. There was no quorum of directors for a board meeting that evening, so the election of officers by the s had not occurred as of this writing. We thank outgoing directors Diane Cartwright and Arnold Witte for serving since 2011.

4
Briarhills - November 2013
Effective Saturday, September 28, 2013, all tennis court reservations must be made online on Briarhills. org. You must have a Briarhills.org log-in account in order to access the online reservation system. If you do not have an account, please register online at Briarhills. org as soon as possible because the webmasters may take 48 hours or more to verify that you are a POA or HOA resident before activating your account. Please note the following guidelines: • When you make a reservation, the website will send you an email confirming your reservation. You may use this email as proof that you have reserved the tennis court for that particular time and day. • You must be at the tennis court no later than 15 minutes after the reserved start time. If you are not, others are allowed to use the court. • As a courtesy to others, please cancel your reservation online if your plans change. • The tennis courts may NOT be used for professional purposes without a current written contract with Briarhills POA. Please contact the POA office if you are giving paid tennis lessons.
