SCIA COMPLETES POOL COMMUNITY CENTER RENOVATION SCIA has completed an extensive renovation of the Pool Community Center. This room, which overlooks the pool, is now available for rental. This venue is suitable for smaller groups that find the clubhouse itself too large for its needs. The room has kitchen facilities and conveniently located restrooms. The rental of this room does not include pool use. For more details about the room, rental rate information, etc., please contact Jinnie Kelley at 832-922-8030. Kids’ Track Team Season Starts February 15

VOLUNTEER REQUEST FOR A “HOP, HOP, HOPPING ALONG” EVENT On Saturday, March 20th a special visitor for our children will be at the Steeplechase clubhouse. Who is the visitor? The EASTER BUNNY!! However the Bunny can’t do it all and the Bunny needs help planning and preparing for this fun event. So, there is a need for volunteers. If you want to volunteer, or have questions about volunteering, please contact Stacy Johnston at Chaparral Management. Thanks for your interest in making this a fun-filled, memorable event for kids.

The Northwest Flyers Track Club is now registering new and returning athletes for the 2016 spring and summer track season. All athletes new to the sport who are not on school track teams must pass a fitness test at their first practice in order to join the team. Practices are held on Mondays and Thursdays at Cypress Creek High School track, 9815 Grant Rd., Houston. The Northwest Flyers is a youth (ages 6 -18) track organization, affiliated with USA Track & Field. The club provides a full program of “track” events such as sprints, hurdles, middle distance, distance and relays, and “field” events such as long jump, triple jump, high jump, pole vault, discus, shot put and javelin. The club was founded 29 years ago by local Olympic gold medalist Fred Newhouse to foster the development of youth track & field in the northwest Houston area. The Knights of Columbus Council #8096 is hosting their 29th Charity Las Vegas Night Fundraiser at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church on February 13, 2016. An evening of casino style gaming played with fun money is planned for guests to become eligible to win prizes donated by our generous sponsors for this event. Time is 6:30 P.
