A SnoMaster Fridge/Freezer is the perfect gift for an off-road enthusiast, hunter, fisher, or road tripper! Our SnoMaster Fridges are dual AC/DC meaning they can be plugged into a 12 volt car charger when traveling (or even hard wired to the car battery) and then plugged into a standard outlet when available. No need to load and unload, and absolutely no need for ice! TO GUARANTEE THE BEST COOLING PERFORMANCE SnoMaster developed its own compressor for portable refrigerators and freezers, which still functions reliably even in the harsh environment of an offroad vehicle and at extreme temperatures of desert heat! The compressor is designed to resist dust and dirt, violent vibrations and shocks of todays overlander. SnoMaster gurantee’s the compressor for a period of 5 years. WIRELESS REMOTE All SnoMaster coolers are supplied with a wireless remote control. This allows the coolers to be fully monitored and controlled from the driver seat. The remote control displays the desired and actual temperature of the unit. The desired temperature can be adjusted via the wireless remote control. The status of the power supply is displayed and the battery monitor can be adjusted. If necessary, the cooler can be switched on and off by remote control. The performance of the compressor can be also regulated for optimal performance. To use the remote control even in the dark, if necessary, the backlight of the display can be turned on. Integrated into the wireless remote is a handy LED flashlight. All these powerful features from an integrated solar cells on the back of the remote for continuous charge.

The SnoMaster Range: Traveller
The Traveller Series was designed for those looking for a smaller unit for shorter periods of travel like a weekend away. The unit is more compact and can fit into an average car boot. Also ideal for a second fridge / freezer at home. The Classic Series range comprises Snomaster original range and is designed for general off road use, giving a larger size selection. Even though this is aimed at general usage, the specs have always been maintained to be comparable or in certain cases better than our competitors current product offer.
The Expedition Series was designed for those who don’t have access to 110 / 220 volt for long periods of time and so the battery amperage draw is paramount. The unit’s insulation is thicker at 70mm, for better maintenance of temperature. Copyright © 2016 Peel, Inc.

Central Texas Italian Community helps destroyed city of Amatrice, Italy On Aug 24th, 2016 a 6.2 Earthquake destroyed almost in its entirety 3 towns in central Italy, especially the city of Amatrice. After receiving inquiries from the Austin Italian community, "Italy meets Texas", an organization that promotes the Italian culture in Austin, decided to organize a relief fund effort. Napoli's Restaurant in Bee Cave, opened its doors on Labor Day Monday Sept. 5th for a "PASTA AMATRICIANA DAY" to donate a percentage of those sales. The organizers were unsure of the outcome since it was Labor Day but just after opening, a huge crowd appeared and all the tables got filled quickly. More people continue to arrive and waited patiently to try the famous Amatriciana pasta dish. The organizers of the event, "Italy meets Texas" were speechless to see the response of Italians, Italians Americans and local Austinites who in solidarity showed up to contribute and help people of a small town of Italy. Lucky's Restaurant, Cotone Clothing, Dolce Neve, Carmelo's Restaurant, Michael Angelo's Foods, and Venezia Gelato were among the other Italian businesses that were in the collection of funds for the relief effort. Italy Meets Texas has a Bank of America account and all the money collected will be wire-transferred to the city of Amatrice. This transfer will be transparent and published on their Facebook page.
Womens Advisory Council The Women's Advisory Council to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center—Lakeway celebrated its first anniversary on Sept. 13 with a light lunch at Cafe Blue. WAC Chairman Rochelle Storin congratulated approximately 40 volunteers in attendance for providing creative ideas and solutions to help make WAC's first year a success. Storin also honored founding members and presented small gifts to those whom Storin called "the doers," volunteers who have provided both ideas and hands-on solutions. Just a few of the projects over the WAC's first year included a women's seminar series, disaster readiness training, partnering on an open house, a heart walk, securing over 10,000 books for the book cart service for patients, Mamas and Mammos events during breast cancer awareness month, and help with 2017 fund raisers for projects that will benefit the local community. "Over the next 12 months, we will focus on even more 'doing.' We are open to creative opportunities and new projects to help us achieve our goals for 2016-2017," Storin said. Philippe Bochaton, president of Baylor Scott & White Health— Lakeway, thanked all the members for their invaluable contribution over the past year. Mike Moore, vice president of philanthropy, addressed the gathering and said he looked forward to the group's involvement in fundraising efforts. (Continued on Page 10) Copyright © 2016 Peel, Inc.

THIS TOO SHALL PASS WITH JOSH STIVERS
The election cycle in the United States is nearing the finish line, with less than 45 days to go until Nov. 8th. Inevitably, during client account reviews, the discussion turns to the election and the potential implications it may have on portfolios and retirement plans. I want to take a moment to share a “calming perspective” to a time and a topic that is often anything but calming: the presidential election. Does the stock market care which party wins? Research from Goldman Sachs has shown the stock market has been rather indifferent to which party ends up in the White House. As a matter of fact, the 12 months following presidential elections have averaged a median total return of 10% regardless of whether Republicans or Democrats took office. Recent events also seem to indicate that constant media attention drawing us into the “political storm” tends to ultimately result in minimal impact on investments long term. Election cycles come and go every four years. Some elections, like this one, are more volatile and passionate than others. We would expect a highly volatile media period over the next 45 days and the potential for
volatility in stocks over the next 6 months. That being said, I want to offer the following reminder: First, this too shall pass. And, as investors, the most important thing to remember is you are invested for the long term. It sounds almost cliché to say it, but the secret to surviving the volatility that comes with investing is having a well-constructed financial strategy and an advisor you can turn to for guidance through the storms. Consider asking your advisor the following questions: 1. Is it time to review my portfolio and plan? 2. Is my portfolio’s risk still aligned with my goals? 3. How would a sustained downturn affect my investment plan? 4. Should we be making any changes based on the current economy and recent news cycle? It is important you continue to make investing decisions based on your long term strategy and no be overly swayed by the temporary fluctuations caused by current events. If you have any concerns or would like to talk, please give me a call or email: retirebetter@platinumwealthadvisory.com
