Emily Dear Congratulations to Emily Dear, May 2021 graduate of St. Pius X High School in Houston, Texas. While in high school, Emily was a 4-year letter winner in softball; Captain of the team; 3-time All State selection; 2020 VYPE Preseason Player of the Year nominee; member of National Honor Society, Honor Board, and School Ambassadors. Emily will continue her academic and athletic pursuits in the fall, attending University of Texas at San Antonio where she will play NCAA Division 1 softball in Conference USA.
Kimberly Dorsey Kimberly will be graduating from TMHS, summa cum laude. Some of her activities have included Academic UIL, Key Club, Mu Alpha Theta, NHS, Orchestra, and Science Olympiad. Kimberly has been recognized as a National Merit Commended Scholar and African American Scholar, AP Scholar with Distinction, and Scholastic Gold Key Recipient. Brett Eckel The Eckel family is very proud of our 2021 senior, Brett. Brett has had a successful swim career swimming for both his USA PACK Swim Team and the Tomball Memorial High School Swim Team. In addition, Brett works as a swim coach at Fast Track Swimming, yet also found time to volunteer in his community. We are excited for him as he will be attending the Colorado School of Mines where he plans to study computer science. We love you, Brett!

Tucker Golden

Eddie Hudzinski Eddie Hudzinski moved from Ohio in 2007. He is the 3rd youngest of 7 children and has participated in football, basketball, and track programs both through the TISD and local youth groups. This will be his third year working as a lifeguard and will manage a new development’s pool this summer. Eddie will attend the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in the Fall and work on obtaining a degree in business.

Braden McAnear Braden McAnear will graduate from Bridgeland High School in CFISD. He attended Willow Creek Elementary, Northpointe Intermediate, Willow Wood Junior High and one year at Tomball Memorial HS before transferring to Bridgeland. Braden is active in band and soccer. He is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and will graduate Summa Cum Laude. Braden plans to study Architecture at Oklahoma State University. Reese Rosner
Reese, congratulations on your graduation and all your accomplishments. Dad and I are so proud of you. Reese will graduate from Tomball Memorial High School with a certification as a medical assistant and 27 hours of college credit transferrable to The University of Oklahoma where she will be pursuing her degree in nursing in the fall. Reese has been a member of the varsity basketball team all four years of High School and has played on a team since she was eight years old. We will miss watching you on the court next year. She was also inducted into The National Honor Society this year. Reese has volunteered throughout high school including volunteer work at a local nursing home as well as vacation bible school during the summers. Homeowner Briefing for Village Creek’s March Board Meeting The March HOA Board Meeting was held on March 8, 2021 virtually via dial in and an online meeting link. All Board members were present: Ty Thomas, President; Brian Martin, Vice President; Cynthia Moody, Treasurer; Chimeria Gonzalez, Secretary; and Eddy Kharrazi, At Large. Pam Hummel representing Crest Management was present. The February 8, 2021 meeting minutes were unanimously approved. Past due accounts and deed restriction violations were discussed in the Executive Meeting. There were no actions taken for delinquent assessments or deed restriction violations. The board ratified several actions taken between meetings. The board voted on walking path signage verbiage, garage sale dates, and Spring Fling dates. The constable’s report was provided in the board’s packet, but not read. The board presented the January 21, 2021 financial report to the homeowners present. Pam Hummel reviewed the balance sheet and income statement. As of January 31, 2021, the association has a 74% collection rate for 2021 assessments. Total Cash $690,770.19 Total Reserve Funds $237,659.99 Total Assessment in Receivables $144,880.27 Total Assets $1,135,426.35 New business matters discussed were: 1) Three bids were presented for tree removal near the pool and on Lake Vista. An estimate from Sticks was approved in the amount of $1350 pending confirmation of stump removal/grinding. 2) The board tabled a discussion on the adoption of

a fining policy. 3) The board discussed the HOA deeded home. The attorney is releasing the deed back to the homeowner who is now current with payments. 4) The board discussed revisiting the Google spreadsheet for maintenance items. 5) The amended ARC guidelines were approved. The Homeowner Forum had four homeowners in attendance. A homeowner stated that in a previous board meeting the board approved adding resident only signs to the walking path. The homeowner stated that as the association is tax exempt the board could not allow the signage. A homeowner asked about the survey status.
