PLEASE CLEAN UP WHEN YOU LEAVE THE POOL AREA! Children’s summer tennis camps are available in LOE through August. This is a great opportunity if you have children interested in learning how to play right here in our community! The camps are being held weekly through August 13. The sessions are 2 hours per day, with children ages 5-10 from 8-10 am and children ages 11-18 from 10-12 am. Sessions will be held rain or shine and the coaches will use the covered area near the pool in case of rain. However, if there are several days of rain during the camp, the coaches may either cancel the camp for the week and/or schedule a makeup at a later point. Please note that the camps are restricted to LOE residents, participants may bring one non-LOE friend each. There is a limit of 6 children per session and the cost is $175/child/week. These camps are being hosted independently by the coaches. They are not sponsored or endorsed in any way by the Homeowner's Association. The coaches have been permitted to use our facilities to offer these programs to LOE children at a preferred pricing. Parents will need to coordinate and interact directly with the respective coach. The camps will use one court during camp sessions while still allowing two courts for normal resident use. Contact coaches directly per below schedules: August 9 - 13

We have a beautiful pool and surrounding area, enjoyed by residents, not just for swimming but for meeting and socializing. Please make sure that you clean up after yourself before leaving. Ensure all garbage especially food items, empty bottles and cans are placed securely in the trash cans. If the pool-side garbage cans are full, please use the dumpsters in the enclosed area on the front south (left) side of the clubhouse. Recently left food items attracted vultures and other critters not to mention it is inconsiderate to other neighbors when they come to enjoy the pool. Check for any personal items. There have been a number of items left at the pool. These are left for a few days then discarded. Please remember the following basic pool rules: • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult (18 years or older). • Animals are not allowed in the building or pool area, except guide dogs. Guide dogs are allowed on the deck, but not in the water. • Entry gates to be closed at all times. • No loud music. Personal music devices only. • No skateboards, roller blades, bikes or scooters allowed inside the fence. • At no time should anyone climb over or around the fence into the pool area. Entry is by fob only. A full list of the Pool Rules can be found on the LOE website or at the pool.

LOE Blood Drive at the Clubhouse July 24, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm Because blood supplies are typically low during summer months and the incredible turnout we had for the last blood drive, LOE is hosting another blood drive. Please register for a time slot at https:// www.commitforlife.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/336445. Gulf Coast is offering a free beach towel to participants! Let’s do our part to support Houston! Copyright © 2021 Peel, Inc.

Parade, Food Trucks, and Fireworks July 4th, 6:30pm Everyone is welcomed to participate in the short parade from the clubhouse to the Lake Center Run cul du sac in Bristol Cove (Need to check if this is the village name). Decorate bikes, strollers, scooters, or just dress up and walk along the Food vector created by freepik route. Neighbors can come to watch to along the street to enjoy the parade. Food trucks will be in front of the clubhouse and begin serving at 7:00 pm. Join neighbors around the pool patio to enjoy the food and BYOB. All neighbors are invited to bring their fireworks to the clubhouse to set off over the lake when dark. Bringing fireworks to the open clubhouse area, helps to avoid setting off fireworks in and around neighbors and pets that may not appreciate unexpected loud noises and hopefully lessen the chance for fireworks to go awry near neighbor’s homes and landscaping. An area behind the pool will be roped off to prevent young children from the firework area.

Dive in Movie July 24, 8:15pm Come enjoy an outside movie on the big screen. View from the pool or lounge on the pool deck during the screening of the movie Wonder Woman 1984. Bring your own snack and beverages.

Lakes on Eldridge PLEASE AVOID PARKING ON THE STREET Recently it appears that more cars are being parked in front of homes instead of on the driveways. Street parking can cause numerous hazards and safety issues by slowing the passage of emergency vehicles and making it difficult for the mosquito fogging trucks at night. It also obscures street visibility and increases the potential for individual injury and vehicular accidents. According to HOA rules, no vehicles can be parked on the street if that vehicle creates any of the following situations: • Inhibits the free flow of traffic • Creates a safety hazard • Blocks access to driveways, mailboxes, fire hydrants, etc. • Blocks a clear view of any intersection or • Is parked directly across the street from a driveway. Guest parking on the street during parties and events is acceptable, but no vehicles should be routinely parked on the street. The HOA regularly receives complaints about routine street parking. Please park all vehicles in the driveway especially overnight. Your cooperation is appreciated.

On the trail, she forms an instant connection with John Lowry, a half-Pawnee man straddling two worlds and a stranger in both. But life in a wagon train is fraught with hardship, fear, and death. Even as John and Naomi are drawn to each other, the trials of the journey and their disparate pasts work to keep them apart. John’s heritage gains them safe passage through hostile territory only to come between them as they seek to build a life together. Ripped apart, they can’t turn back, they can’t go on, and they can’t let go. Both will have to make terrible sacrifices to find each other, save each other, and eventually…make peace with who they are. Let’s read!..... 4
