On my way home this afternoon, I stopped at Auto Zone at the front of FF, and I noticed someone was working on a car in the heat. It was no other than Gary, the manager. I stopped to offer help and ask how he was doing. He declined the help but mentioned that he had just gotten back to work from being out sick for a couple of weeks, but a young lady was down on her luck and had a bad battery. On this particular car, you have to remove the tire and the inner fender well to get to the hold-down bracket and the cables to change it, and most places won’t do it or charge quite a bit for the labor. So here was Gary paying it forward. People like Gary make me Fairfield Proud!
