A Hot New Addition
to the Cypress Restaurant Scene
By Jackie Devine News has spread that Andy Correa, owner and operator of Andy's Kitchen, is on the verge of opening a second restaurant just a few miles down Highway 290 at the former New York & Chicago Pizza Company House site. As soon as he announced the coming of Andy's Bar and Grill, questions started to fly. We thought you might also be curious about Andy's plans because they are sure to include you, your family, and your friends.

Question: Are you closing Andy's Kitchen?
Answer: No, it is a unique concept and it will continue to be the neighborhood diner/hamburger joint. There will be no changes at Andy's Kitchen.
Question: Are you providing the same menu at both restaurants?
Answer: No, Andy’s Bar and Grill is a totally different concept than Andy’s Kitchen. At the new restaurant, we will serve pasta, Cajun fusion-type items, and American cuisine, like chicken fried steak.
Question: How else will Andy's Bar and Grill be different from Andy's Kitchen?
Answer: During the day, customers will dine in a kid-friendly environment. In the evenings, it will morph into a Cypress “watering hole”. We believe in a business model based on people eating and staying to relax and unwind. Monday through Thursday, customers might be surprised by karaoke or trivia night, and on weekends, they will enjoy live entertainment.
Question: Is it going to be kid-friendly?
Answer: Yes, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, children and families are welcome. After 9:00 pm, diners must be at least 21 years old.
Question: Well, where is it?
Answer: Andy’s Bar and Grill is located on the Highway 290 feeder road between Mueschke Road and Mason Road, less than three miles from Andy's Kitchen. Heading west, it is right before the Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Question: Are we ever going to see you now that you have two places going?
Answer: Yes, I'll be splitting my time at both locations. I plan to be as active as I can at both locations and I don't want to lose any of the personal touches that we have there.
Stay tuned for the opening of Andy's Bar and Grill. You can follow Andy on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/ andyskitchentx or reach him by phone at 832-244-1087.
