Easter Egg Hunt Fun Returned To Steiner Ranch
The Easter Bunny was back in a big way on Saturday, April 16th this year, delivering 12,000 eggs for one of the most anticipated events that has been missing since the pandemic. This was the 28th year the event was held in the neighborhood by the Steiner Ranch HOA, and it was EGGS-STRA FUN! The event drew an estimated 900 to 1,200 kids aged 10 down to toddlers and their families who scoured the John Simpson Park for colorful eggs to mark the first such event since 2019. The event also featured a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, balloon twisters, a DJ, pictures with the Easter bunny, BOSU Ball Balance Challenge, Kona Ice, inflatable Plinko, and Easter hats to color. Thank you to all the sponsors that made the event possible and to Travis County Constable Office Pct. 2 and Lake Travis Fire Rescue Station 605 for being there and supporting the event. Thank you to Young Men's Service League - Hill Country Chapter for cleaning up the park after the event. Photo Credits: Jose Valladares - One Media Company
