ARTISTIC Director's Note Thank you for coming to see our public performance of Losing It which marks the end of the class of 2022's training with Peer. The play was written for a teenage audience in response to the topics young people told us were often missing in their sex education at school. Performing this play in schools requires a resilient cast with an excellent sense of humour and bundles of energy. This talented cast have exceeded all expectations, which is particularly impressive for a generation whose opportunities to perform publicly have been so severely curtailed in the last two years. The response from the audiences on tour has varied wildly, from raucous laughter to stunned silence, and we have received so many positive messages from young people and teachers alike which has only served to reinforce our view that this work is both timely and necessary. Each of our young cast members should feel so proud that they have contributed to making such a joyous, moving and transformative piece of theatre. Nina Lemon
