The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation (DRWC) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to design, develop, program and maintain public amenities along the central Delaware River Waterfront.

We aim to transform the Waterfront into a vibrant destination for recreational, cultural, and commercial activities for residents of and visitors to Philadelphia. We believe in creating public spaces that are accessible and welcoming to everyone and invite you to enjoy your summer days and nights with us.

Travel south to explore the peaceful serenity and nature of Washington Avenue Pier. Take advantage of the Pier’s walking path allowing visitors to reach the tip of the pier, an elevated boardwalk allowing visitors to pass over wetland habitats below, and ecological enhancements.

The Delaware River Trail is the ultimate mode of travel connecting all of your favorite Waterfront amenities. This scenic, multimodal trail runs over 3 miles along the Waterfront, running from Pier 68 in South Philadelphia to Penn Treaty Park in North Philadelphia.

The trail makes it easier than ever to travel to all our parks by foot, bike, skateboard, or anything on wheels. Between Cherry Street Pier and Race Street Pier, don’t miss Weaver’s Knot: Sheet Bend, an astounding installation from Studio Ball Nogues and the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy.

Exciting developments are happening along the Delaware River Waterfront. Amid construction of the Park at Penn’s Landing, all Waterfront amenities and attractions will be open. Please check out all the ways you can arrive at the Waterfront to enjoy all we have to offer.

RiverLink Ferry

Daily service from May 25 through September 2

Beginning September 7, weekend and Freedom Mortgage Pavilion event service will run through September 29.

Philly PHLASH

Daily Service Now through September 2

The PHLASH bus stop is located at the corner of 2nd St. and Market St., just a 5-minute walk to the Waterfront.

SEPTA Market-Frankford Line

The 2nd Street station is a 5-minute walk to the Waterfront.

Septa Bus Routes

Routes 5, 12, 17, 21, 25, 33, 38, 42, 44, and 48 all provide convenient drop off locations to the Waterfront.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

BY CAR

You can take any taxi or rideshare services right to the Waterfront. You can also drive your own vehicle. However, due to construction, parking directly on the Waterfront is very limited. Visit ArriveattheWaterfront.com for a list of parking options.

BY BIKE

A two-lane biking bath is available via the Delaware River Trail, which runs along Columbus Boulevard from Pier 70 in South Philadelphia to Penn Treaty Park in Fishtown.

There are two Indego Bike stations along the Waterfront.

• Race Street Pier, N. Columbus Blvd.

• Foglietta Plaza, 3 Dock St.

BY FOOT

The Waterfront can be accessed by foot via South Street, Spruce Street, Dock Street, Market Street, and Race Street, all connecting with Columbus Blvd. You can also walk along the Delaware River Trail, running along Columbus Blvd.

PUBLIC RESTROOMS

Visitors can access public restrooms along the Waterfront at the following locations:

• Cherry Street Pier (year-round during operating hours)

• Independence Blue Cross RiverRink (seasonal)

• Spruce Street Harbor Park, next to The Trading Post and Information Center (seasonal)
