State College is named one of the best adventure and college towns in the United States as well as ranked one of the best places to live, work and play! A little bit of history and a long list of must see attractions, shops, award-winning lodging, restaurants, wineries, cideries, breweries and distilleries only showcase part of the reasons why.
Roar with the Nittany Lions on the field, on the stage or at the Creamery! Penn State University is one of the largest universities in the world. Students keep campus and town buzzing with the latest in research, trends and philanthropy….THON is a completely student-run organization that raises millions of dollars for kids with cancer each year.
Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or simply enjoy sitting around a camp fire, your adventure awaits. With skiing, hiking, biking, golfing, kayaking or fishing you’ll find something that piques your interest. Hit the trails, slopes, links or water by day and be back for dinner and in a comfortable bed by nightfall.
If you’re in town for business or looking to relocate, you can find the services you need. Our list of banks, business services, churches, spas and more can make your visit feel like home away from home. Our listings of associations, apartment rental companies, real estate agencies and retirement communities can make relocating to State College easy.
