Whether it is assembling a wedding, continuing education, planting stakes, or serving as a getaway, Centre County, often referred to as Happy Valley, is frequently ranked as a top location for each of these, by publications such as USA Today and National Geographic. It does not take much to see all of the delights the region’s network of villages, historic sites, and shops have to offer, such as the superb local cider, beer, spirits and wine that can be purchased on the Central PA Tasting Trail. Experiences such as theatrical performances or athletic events can be found in facilities ranging from small to large, depending on preference. While in town, check the calendar to see a list of the unique events happening when you are here. To get the most of your experience, check with the Central PA Convention and Visitor’s Bureau to find valuable packages and deals. Below is a time line to help select the events.

Centre County is bursting with beauty in any given season. Step into an ocean of greens in the spring, a carpet of gold, orange, and apple red leaves in the autumn, or a beautifully frosted countryside, in the winter. There are numerous ways to travel across the area and savor its beauty, such as land (foot, car, bicycle, and even chariot!) water (kayak, canoe, and other vessels,) and air (glider, plane, and hot air balloon.)

Central Pennsylvania Visitors Guide \ 83
If
you have found the person who brings joy to your life, chances are you are planning on asking one of the ultimate questions in life. Those four words have the power to merge destinies and create a new, shared life, so, it is important that you select the best decisions, for the grand choices, as well as the small ones. Happy Valley is a treasure chest of resources for those arranging all of the ceremonies celebrating the life they will be sharing with their partner. One of the largest choices involves the smallest of objects: the ring. This ornament will become the symbol of your love to your significant other, so, you want to make sure you have the jewel that radiates the feeling and history. Fortunately, Happy Valley has a legion of jewelers who will help you select the best ring for the occasion, with their expertise and top of the line resources. You can browse existing catalogues like a wine cellar for the perfect vintage, or, you can meet with one of the experts, who will create a custom delight for you; regardless of which path you take, they will work with you every step of the process, making sure that every detail is covered. In addition to helping locate the right ring, they can help you the apparel for the wedding, with guiding the selection of ceremonial rings and other accessories.

Now that you have selected a jeweler, the next step is larger in its scope, as
well as its importance: the time and venue for the wedding. One of the better approaches for the matter is to select a desired time period, and then consult potential venues for the availability. The time period could be a season or even a month; regardless of which time you select, Happy Valley is ripe with seasonally appropriate options to accentuate your event. Perhaps you love the apple reds and golds of autumn? If so, there are numerous sites that offer spectacular views of the seasonal hues, from converted barns to wineries, and everything in between. Or, if the ideal time lies on the warmer half of the year, there are many sites that can channel the magic of local undergraduate years, or sites that can complement the schedule of the families, such as hotels, and gardens. Along with natural beauty, there are numerous churches and worship centers that will offer a particular spirit to the events. Once you have decided on a period of time and have settled on a venue, then, you can work until you reach the magic day. While searching for venues, remember that all of these celebrated locations come with demand, so make sure to book in advance!

With
the date and location for your enchanted day selected, it is time to tailor the ceremony to select the theme or main idea behind the wedding. Whether it is the florists who can bring nature’s finest flowers to the event, or bridal stores that house the finest cuts in dresses and tuxedos, you can expect the same level of care and attention to detail that you found when selecting the ring. These specialists will help make every aspect of the day reach the full potential, in terms of quality, as well as practicality. Layer by layer, the events will become neatly arranged, like the delicious layers of the cake. Speaking of cakes, it is important to sample different types, to find the best flavor, so it will complement the ornate designs that will grace it. Fortunately, there are cake specialists who can top it off! To help guide your selections, there is an organizer below.
