Near the Arctic Circle, there is a tiny village called Posio. This small hamlet has been the home of Pentik for nearly half a century. In the heart of Lapland, far from the sounds of the city, the ground is coloured by the seasons, and the evening sky shimmers with northern lights. Here, the magic of nature fl ows wild and free.

Hidden in Posio is the northernmost ceramics factory in the world. The beauty of Pentik ceramics is inspired by nature’s primal forces and the fl ow of seasons. Crafted with care and devotion, each Pentik item is a token of the interplay between craftmanship and clay. A unique Finnish product and a partner for life.

Valkea – more than a dish

There is unique calmness in the white northern winter, which casts its magic upon those who witness it. That pure, plain beauty and simple scenery as well as the organic shapes of nature were the source of inspiration for the new elegant Valkea tableware series.

The Valkea tableware series, designed by Lasse Kovanen, combines essential design with craftmanship and the tactile nature of the material, which can be intuitively sensed. To complement the clean lines of Valkea, a select three items are also decorated with the soft and delicate Pastelli illustration, making the entity even more versatile. Pastelli, designed by Minna Niskakangas, derives its inspiration from wood sorrel and is one of the most beloved Pentik illustrations of all time. It adds a charming, personal touch to any occasion.
