I began my journey with a Master's degree in Computer Science and Systems Engineering from Minho University, where I graduated in the top 10% of my class. Throughout my career, I've honed skills across a wide range of programming languages, with a particular focus on Golang, Ruby on Rails, and Python. I've refined problem-solving abilities through years of designing and implementing complex software systems, making me adept at tackling even the most challenging technical issues.
As a seasoned cloud architect and AWScertified professional, I've worked extensively with physical, virtual, hybrid, and full cloud environments. I have expertise spanning various industries, including Aerospace & Defense, Financial Services, Healthcare, and Technology, among others. I've held diverse roles such as Software Development Engineer, Software Development Manager, VP of Engineering, and CTO, giving me a comprehensive understanding of both technical and leadership aspects of the industry. I maintain an adaptability and continuous learning mindset that has allowed me to stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, always seeking innovative solutions to drive business success.

My passion for technology started early when I built my first computer at age 12. This led me to experiment with electronics, and by 16, I had designed and etched my own printed circuit boards in my parents' garage. One of my early creations was a rudimentary home automation system that could control lights and appliances via text messages - pretty cutting-edge for the early 2000s!
