HAIR Signature Twist-Out (Video) Products I used: Perm Rods (Blue) Shea Butter Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Coconut Curling Cream (CCC) Jojoba oil Giovanni Direct Leave In This process is best completed at night before bedtime. Start on freshly washed and detangled hair. Put the leave-in in your hair first. Starting from the back, grab a medium sized amount of hair. Section off some hair, get a pea size amount of Cantu CCC along with some Shea butter and emulsify it in your hands so that you can apply it to your hair. Run your fingers through your curls, apply the product and twist. While twisting, use the “grab and go” method to avoid parts from showing in the final hairstyle. Repeat this process until you have created 20-25 medium sized twists. Once all twists are complete, let your hair air dry for about 15 minutes, and then use the perm rods to rod set the twists. Once all the rods are in and secure, wrap your hair up and go to sleep.

Want to recreate this look? The next few pages will tell you how!
In the morning, take out the rollers first, then the twists, making sure the twists are COMPLETELY DRY. With a pea size amount of Jojoba oil in your hands, pat your hands over each twist, and then separate the twists to your liking. If your desire fuller hair, use a shot of heat from the blow dryer to lengthen your roots. You may also opt to use a pick or some sort (i.e. comb, fingers, etc.), but ONLY FOCUS ON THE ROOTS as you do not want to disturb your curls. And VOILA! You have a curly twist out! PAGE 12 of 28
